Questions

Short answers about buying from Veltskins. The full wording is in our policies.

Orders

Four things in order: sign in and connect Steam, store your trade URL against the account, fill your cart and open checkout. There you give us contact and billing details, tick both confirmation boxes, and pay on the provider's secure page. The confirmation email follows the moment the payment clears.

Yes. A lot can only go to a Steam account, which means checkout needs an account here with Steam connected to it. Signing in through Steam does that in one move; registering with an email and password and connecting Steam later works equally well.

Every lot in the catalogue is one skin in one condition, so a lot can only be bought once. A single order can hold up to 10 different lots.

The label prints the float range for the condition, not a measured value for your copy. Every copy of a skin has its own float fixed at the moment it drops; yours falls somewhere inside the printed range, and Steam shows the exact figure once the item is in your inventory.

You can cancel free of charge at any point before the Steam trade offer leaves us. After that the lot is on its way and the cancellation wording at checkout applies. Write to info@veltskins.com with your order number and we will stop it if we still can.

Spam folder first; after that, My purchases lists every order with its current status. An order showing there without an email in your inbox just needs a nudge to info@veltskins.com and we will resend it.

Delivery via Steam

As a Steam trade offer. Once your payment is confirmed we send the skin to the trade URL saved on your account, normally a matter of minutes after the payment clears. Open Steam, go to Inventory, then Trade Offers, and accept it.

We send the offer normally a matter of minutes after the payment clears. If we cannot deliver within 24 hours of the payment being confirmed, we refund the lot.

Good standing with no trade ban and no cooldown; the Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator enabled for 7 days or longer; an inventory set to public; and a trade URL from that same account, current and stored here.

Steam can hold items you receive under trade protection for up to 7 days, and accounts without the Mobile Authenticator can see trade holds of up to 15 days. Those are Valve's rules, applied to every trade on Steam, and not something we set or can shorten.

Write to us with your order number. If the offer ran out before you accepted it, we send it again where we can; if we cannot, we refund the lot.

Each lot on your purchase page carries its status and, once sent, a direct link to the offer itself. A genuine offer hands over the skin you paid for and requests nothing of yours in return. Neither your Steam password nor a Steam Guard code is something we would ever ask you for.

Refunds

If we cannot deliver a lot within 24 hours, if the offer fails for a reason on our side, or if Steam reverses the trade while the item is under trade protection. The full wording is in our Item guarantee.

Before delivery begins, yes, and at no cost. At checkout you ask us to start delivery straight away and confirm that you lose the 14-day right to cancel once the trade offer is sent, so a delivered item cannot be returned because you changed your mind.

Inside 14 days, to the original payment method, in the currency you paid. Allow your bank a few further working days before it appears on the statement.

Yes. If the offer cannot be completed because the trade URL is wrong, the inventory is private, or the account carries a trade ban or a Steam Guard restriction, we refund the lot and tell you exactly what to change.

Payment

By Visa and Mastercard card. You type your card details on the payment provider's own PCI DSS compliant page. We take no other payment method.

We never store or process full card details. Every card payment runs on our PCI DSS compliant provider's hosted page, and your bank may ask you to confirm it with 3-D Secure, usually in your banking app.

USD, EUR and GBP. You are charged in the currency chosen at checkout. If your card is held in a different currency, your bank may add its own conversion fee.

HIGHER MARGINS LTD is not registered for VAT, so no VAT is charged and nothing is added at checkout.

When you complete the payment on the provider's page. We only ask for the lot to be delivered once that payment is confirmed. If the payment is declined or you cancel it, nothing is charged.

Items

Cosmetics for Counter-Strike 2, and nothing else: weapon finishes, knives and gloves. They alter a weapon's appearance in game and leave its behaviour exactly as it was.

No. Veltskins is a store. We sell lots we source ourselves; you cannot list, sell or trade anything to us here.

Classification is the drop tier the game assigns, from Consumer Grade up to Covert, with knives and gloves marked ★. Condition (Factory New to Battle-Scarred) is the band the item's float falls in. Quality is Standard, StatTrak™ (which counts kills) or Souvenir (dropped at a Major).

No. Veltskins is an independent store and is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Valve Corporation. Items sit in your Steam account under Steam's own terms.
